Each year, bird strikes cost US airlines an estimated $1.2 billion. Only part of those costs are from actual damage. The rest comes from flight delays and cancellations.

One should be aware about the possible consequences of bird strikes. The aviation industry is expected to expand with 50% by 2035. We have to implement efficient technology and techniques to mitigate the problem in long term. At Volacom, we dedicated resource and experience to provide the most effective BIRD COLLISION AVOIDANCE SYSTEM (BCAS).

“Before the discovery of Australia, people in the Old World were convinced that all swans were white, an unassailable belief as it seemed completely confirmed by empirical evidence. The sighting of the first black swan might have been an interesting surprise for a few ornithologists (and others extremely concerned with the coloring of birds), but that is not where the significance of the story lies. It illustrates a severe limitation to our learning from observations or experience and the fragility of our knowledge.

Volacom is happy to announce that three new important partnership agreements have been signed. Our global network is expanding, so we feel stronger and more excited than ever to face the new possibilities. We are constantly explore opportunities for cooperation, in order to deliver better solutions to our clients. If interested, do not hesitate to contact us for more details.
